This Sunday 29th of February is our scheduled brunch at the Water-tank Cafe in Hele Crescent. They open the cafe at 10am so if you’ve got time and room for a cuppa then look for bikes in the driveway and a table of members under the Mahogany Tree. Be good to see ya’s there!

This Saturday the 10th of December the 2011 Toy Run leaves the Heavitree Gap Tavern carpark at 1:00pm. Finishing back at the Heavitree Gap Tavern, tinned food, toys and cash will be presented to the Salvation Army. A sausage sizzle will be available. As in previous years, no soft toys please; though you could decorate your bike with them. Throw on some glitter and wear your Ulysses Club membership with pride!
Sunday the 11th; a ride to Standley Chasm to relax in the shady tree lined hills; perhaps with a coffee etc. departing Harvey Norman’s car park at 9am. The plan is for “Spike” to ride with us; so if you haven’t met this lovable character then get on your bike!

Central Deserts Branch
Dear Fellow Central Deserts Branch members,
The branch committee has been advised by one of our fellow committee members, Rob Mayfield, that for personal reasons he has decided to step down as a branch committee member. We would ask that you join us in thanking Rob for his time and efforts while serving on the branch committee. We all look forward to Rob's continued involvement with the Central Deserts Branch as a local member of the Ulysses club, and look forward to his company on rides and Branch social's. Thanks again Rob, we look forward to catching up with you soon. Central Deserts Branch Committee.

Instead; we will depart Harvey Norman’s car park (the far end) 9:00 Saturday 22nd heading to Tyler’s Pass, returning to Glen Helen for lunch. It would be wise to carry some drinking water, now the weather is warming up! Please be warned, anything you do on the ride may be recorded in images and or words and presented for other members entertainment J
Looking forward to seeing many of you there; bring your bathers, one piece or two, even one piece of a two piece if you please.

This Monday evening is the Branch social meet. Club Eastside (formerly Feds) is close to completing the renovations. The Bistro is fully functional again and the food has been very good over the last few weeks. So come along and have a great time with your Ulysses mates. Meals are available from around6:00PM or just come for a drink and chat.
